CURRICULUM VITAE
Kathy Dickmann is an independent researcher based in Adelaide, South Australia. She has investigated a wide range of unusual events, ranging from UFO sightings to paranormal experiences. Kathy has a considerable collection of anomalous photographs, the majority of which she has taken herself.
Since the late 1980s Kathy has been a participant in Paranormal Phenomena Research Foundation Inc., a group dedicated to paranormal and parapsychological studies, of which she was a founding member. Kathy has also been a long-standing member of the Adelaide-based UFO study group "Australian International UFO Flying Saucer Research" (formerly "Australian Flying Saucer Research Society"). In 2002 she jointly founded the study group "Australian UFO Research Association" (AURA). Kathy has been a contributing writer to Project PROVE, a US internet-based team dedicated to reporting of paranormal events observed both in the sky and space.
Kathy had contributed articles to the British publication UFO Magazine, and since 2004 has been a contributing reporter for the British-based publication Flying Saucer Review.
As of 2007 Kathy has acted as Senior Content Producer for the Australian media company Hot Zone.
Over the past two decades Kathy has been to a variety of destinations around the world and been able to catalogue UFO information from both witnesses and fellow researchers. Her particular interest is recording incidents of UFO sightings by airline pilots and has been able to interview several who have had such experiences. Kathy belongs to a large network of UFO investigators and has been able to share what she has learned through giving presentations to interested groups at a local level as well as abroad.
Kathy believes in the importance of raising awareness of the UFO issue in society, and has pressed for greater coverage of the topic by contacting people in politics as well as the media. She has been interviewed a number of times on radio. Perhaps her greatest accomplishment in this regard was when she hand-delivered a videotape of Dr. Steven Greer's 'Disclosure Project' to the front gate of the US-run military base, Pine Gap.
